Sara, after a spell in the Civil Service, took up a career in the City of London. She has extensive management experience and was a Managing Director in HSBC Private Bank. Throughout her career she continued to advise a number of prominent executives on their overall finances and was instrumental in the decisions they made about their philanthropic giving.
Sara studied for an MBA at Cranfield and wrote her thesis on Services Marketing. This enabled her to prepare one business for sale, and to organise an amicable team move into a major bank.
She now lives full time in South Ferriby. She sits on South Ferriby Parish Council, ran the flood appeal when South Ferriby flooded in 2013, and is a local representative on the Cemex Liaison Committee (nearly cement plant).
