Over the years, we have supported thousands of organisations, each with their own powerful story. Here are just a few examples of how your donations have changed people’s lives

MEET JOHN FROM YORK IN RECOVERY
My son's life turned around
“I owe my life, and my son's life to this group.”

He now has a paid 12 hour per week role, and he is thriving.

MEET DOMINIQUE AT THE PEEL PROJECT
Supporting families in my community

A word from Celia
“This milestone is not just about what we have achieved, but about the people, communities, and partnerships that have made it possible.
Every grant awarded, every life changed, and every community strengthened is thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters.
As we look forward, we remain committed to ensuring that no community is left behind. Join us in Funding the Future.”
Our 25th Anniversary Celebration
Celebrate with us
We invite you to celebrate this milestone with us. Our 25th celebration on Wednesday 1st October at York City Art Gallery is an opportunity for fund holder, supporters, community leaders, and past and present team members and volunteers to come together to reflect on our journey and look ahead to the future.
One of our greatest strengths has always been our deep connection with the communities we serve. This event is about celebrating those relationships, sharing impactful stories, and strengthening our collective commitment to lasting change.
Key Two Ridings Milestones

2018 | FIRST PLACE-BASED COMMUNITY FUND LAUNCHED
THE LOCAL FUND for the Harrogate District launches
“National funders wouldn't go near a place perceived to be affluent like Harrogate, but there were real pockets of deprivation. We needed to do something.”
Teaming up with the local council and infrastructure organisation gave Two Ridings the right foundation to launch a fund very locally for people both in the rural district and local towns. Hundreds of community organisations have since been funded on a micro-local level.

Two Ridings responsible for York & North Yorkshire, Hull & East Riding
"Quote about Hull and Strength"
After starting as York and North Yorkshire Community Foundation, we doubled our area in 2010 and created new partners all over the region
