Could you elevate our communications? Two Ridings is hiring

We are looking for an enthusiastic comms person to join our passionate team

In 2024 we are switching things up a little here at Two Ridings. Bec, our current Communications Manager is going to be working more strategically with Celia, our CEO and Harriet, our Head of Partnerships on donor communications, strategic planning, partnerships and events which leaves a great role up for grabs for a new comms person to join the team.

We are really excited to be looking for a Comms & Events Officer, to work alongside Bec, focusing on sharing our news through social media and newsletters, keeping our website relevant and up to date and delivering a programme of events that really engages with our audience.

This is a role for someone who is an excellent and confident communicator, who sees the story in our work and can tell it enthusiastically to others, and is meticulous about events and making them stand out. We are keen to receive applications from people whose identities are currently under-represented in our staff team, and who will bring fresh perspectives to our work.

Full details including job description, personal specification and application form can be found on our Vacancies page.

Working with our Communications & Partnership Manager you will create a wide range of well-designed, engaging and purposeful content for social media, write people-focused blogs, case studies and newsletters, maintain our website, create compelling, but simple, video content and monitor the performance of all our communications.

You’ll deliver a programme of events that engage our current and future supporters and ensure all the practicalities of event management are done effectively and appropriately. You will manage our Drop-Ins with the Grants team and organise visits to the community groups we support.
