Our board of trustees

Two Ridings Community Foundation is governed by a board of trustees made up of experienced leaders and community advocates from the Yorkshire business, public and charitable sectors and with close links to the region’s High Sheriffs.

Richard Frith

CHAIR of Trustees

Richard is the former Bishop of Hereford and before that was the Bishop of Hull. He now lives in York and is passionate about community cohesion and making a difference in the region.

Harriet is a Partner and a specialist family solicitor at Winston Solicitors in Leeds

Venetia Wrigley DL


A former High Sheriff of North Yorkshire, Venetia is currently a Trustee of Racing Welfare and a Governor of the Dales School.

Chris Legard DL


Chris is the current Vice Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire and a former High Sheriff of the county.

Peter Oluotch

Peter is the Chief Officer of Humber Community Advice Services (H-CAS), a Hull-based charity which he co-founded over 9 years ago. The charity supports Black and Minority Ethnic Communities in Hull and the surrounding areas.

Dr Gill Hughes is a lecturer in Youth Work and Community Development/Education Studies and convenor for Social Justice research theme in the School of Education at the University of Hull.
