Nidderdale Plus Community Fund
The Nidderdale Plus Community Fund provides a sustainable source of funding for local charitable activity in Nidderdale and the surrounding area.
Nidderdale Plus established the fund, and are donating income from their charity shop in Pateley Bridge to benefit local people and communities.
The priorities of the fund will be reviewed by round, in line with local needs. For this round, applications are welcome from organisations who are:
- promoting wellbeing
- fostering independence
- cultivating a sense of belonging
- and also for community energy needs.
So local community groups can apply to:
- run activities and services
- cover essential running costs such as utilities, rent, core staff etc.
- cover the costs of small capital schemes.
The Nidderdale Plus Community Fund is keen to support community inspired and led projects, activities and events that show how a small investment can make a big difference to the local community. They are also committed to the principle of full cost recovery, so do include a proportion of your essential costs in your application budget.
